| Right, this is where I'll be doing After-Action-Reports, which is a recounting of events that happened in a video game of some sort. I'll start with a short story in PS2(Planetside 2), but I may make more for different things as time goes on. - Crappy PS2 AAR:
They were dug in, surrounded by Vanu squads and heavy armour, their numbers waning. The Vanu forces pushed lightly at the horshoe, testing the strength of it's defenders. After a few waves of this, they sent in a heavy force and attempted to remove the horseshoe from Terran hands, bored of testing the soldiers inside it.
The Vanu had almost taken the horseshoe with this wave, but a squad of JumpTroopers from a galaxy dropship saved the day.
The momentary respite was all that Alpha Squad needed, and in seconds they had placed down MANA turrets and MAXes were slowly moving up into the sanctuary of the horseshoe do form a defensive semi-circle.
This sanctuary proved to be false, as a quick push from a Vanu Squad left the horseshoe's defenders reeling, half of their limited number lying dead or dying on the ground. The numbers inside the horseshoe quickly waned as the Vanu forces pushed harder and harder, piling more and more troops on the overworked defenders.
To add onto this, a number of Scythe's started to strafe the Terran Soldiers in the horseshoe, making the already bad situation much worse. The situation was going downhill fast, the horseshoe's defenders falling left and right, when a loud wailing started, slowly overpowering the explosions of numerous grenades.
Heads turned as soldiers started to hear the noise over the roar of battle, turning to see a large force of Mosquito fighters, raining AGM missiles down on the Vanu forces. This fleet of fighters turned the battle, and the Terran defenders went on to take the enemy base from which the attack was launched, preventing any more attacks from that area.
