| Why not hold an activity contest? The theme is wheat and hay. You must make some sort of thing that you have to interact with using hay. Hay bale maze... parkour with assasin's creed haybale slimeblock jumps... Archery contest with scarecrows... whatever the mind thinks up.
Hmm... is it a little late in the month to be considering a thanksgiving contest? Granted the thread was started a few days ago... Not completely shurr. | |

| I can't help but think in Redstone. Have you ever seen the amazingly annoying forcewall maze? They had one as a bonus game in Legend of Zelda, Majora's Mask.
The idea is that you have a maze with a path that is 3 x 3, rather than 1 x 1. You lay the entire path on a flat surface with face up sticky pistons. You solve the map this way. Then you place a block floor over the entire thing, and cover it with pressure plates. Leave a 1 x 2 air gap for the player, and then place a shnazzy ceiling.
Any victim -err... "*Player" will wander into a room covered in pressure plates. As they walk on the plates, the floor raises up on either side as they walk Eventually, one will raise up in front of you, forcing you to backtrack. It's tricky in that you cannot see the maze but for a second, forcing you to mentally map out where you've been. A bit nicer than the GlaDOS Barrier maze. The wall of the maze appears and disappears as you walk.
A maze like this would be lots of fun. You can make several mazes in the ground, and then randomly change them out using the Copy command. /Clone ~ ~ ~ ~100 ~ ~100 ~ ~70 ~ (This would paste in a really big maze) 70 blocks in the air.
And what would you be copy/pasting? The sticky pistons, of course! After that the maze will completely change.
