Agreed, it shouldn't be full of stuff. HOWEVER, I do believe there should be multiple planetoids, just spaced apart.

We are making the world in 1.8, and you think I don't have the dedication to wipe out a 250 x 250 chunk of the end to keep my grinder at least 128 blocks away from the islands?

think again, I often times have nothing to do and do quite enjoy the grind, and it would provide plenty of endstone for the new bricks

The End files can be removed and updated to 1.9 once it comes out. Otherwise you won't be able to obtain the new blocks and stuff that are only found in the end. Besides, having an enderman grindr would require there only be one person in the end at a single given time for it to work properly. Besides, having an unlimited supply of end stone is a good thing especially since there are now more uses for the stuff so I'm all for the additional landmasses in the end. Plus End city dungeons.

I like all the new stuff, I just don't think it should be endless <_< kind of defeats the point of . . . . the end

but you do have a point about the blocks having a use now, decor, buuuuut they did that before this update and were finite, I understand that it was rarely used and it will be in far greater demand now, but endless islands is just not cool for the setting

Also, I have built these things before, people being in the end is not my biggest worry

Looks like I'm in for some work clearing a large area for mah thingy

Well the end isn't supposed to be endless anyway. It referred to as the end of the game since you get a credits screen after going through the portal upon defeating the dragon.
