McMMO? Vote inside.

Hello people.

As of recently there has been expressed interest in the plugin McMMO being added to the server.  For those that don't know what McMMO is, it is a plugin that adds leveling, and in turn abilities to various skills.  If you have further questions about McMMO, ask, I'm quite familiar with the plugin.  

Please vote on your opinion in the shown poll.

Personally I say no, it would just be another plugin we have to update and manage, iirc we are a plugin light server. Or trying to be.

Luckily McMMO is a plugin that doesn't deal with blocks, or anything that updates regularly with mc updates.  I suspect it would be as stable as WG, as I've never actually had to update WG, while I have. However, McMMO is something I'd actually enjoy updating.  Thanks for the input, I need more input though from others too.

Only thing McMMO regularly breaks on is servers with nocheat, as nocheat thinks McMMO abilities are hacks.  This is what broke McMMO on MrMC-RPG all that time ago.

If it doesn't create more workload for the processor and ram, I'm all for it.

It really shouldn't, most plugins that even affect the processor are ones that deal with block changes and/or entities.

Would be a light plugin resource wise, but quite a difference gameplay wise if you let it. For people that don't want extra stuff in chat, or abilities, it does have toggle off cmds per user.

I vote yes, even if it doesn't solve the problem that the server can be very boring.

It all feels like complete-vanilla to me.

It's suppose to be, Nuchiha. And it's only as boring as you let it be. I'm constantly finding something to do, so it's never really boring for long. And I'm on CONSTANTLY.

Also: I vote YES! This is similar to the "jobs" plugin, so mi gusta.

Added McMMO,

Right click to prime ability per that tool, left click on mob or block (depending on the skill) to use it.

some cmds: /mcmmo /mcmmo help /mcstats /mctop /SKILLNAMEHERE (can see skill names in mcstats)


Every skill has varies effects, do /SKILLNAMEHERE to see the effects it can do. Red text is your stats per that skill, blue is descriptions on what those stats do.

Bah... Now I'll need to turn auto-killing of golems off and whack them with axes for that precious axe-XP...

Also, Storm, could you turn off auto-smelting ability, it is annoying once you get it. (Yes, I am aware all my skills are at 0 right now, but I think of the future.)

It gives ingot instead of ore block. Annoying, if one wants ore block. Well, it was already on Halcyon without McMMO. Had to use silk touch to mine my iron ore...

And it is actually called FLUX MINING.

Oh :I yeah the ingot mining... Use a damn silk touch pickaxe :I

Well... Now that I think about it... Sure... It mattered when I had no silk touch picks in my treasury...
