Fix'n things Empty
PostSubject: Fix'n things   Fix'n things EmptySat May 04, 2013 1:18 am

Today I just fixed my PS3 for the about 8th time in the span of several months (I YLOD A LOT) after you do it 4 or so times it becomes routine, this time was special however! Last time I had fixed it I unplugged a small piece in it, an a few pins broke out of the PS3. The effect this had was disabling my controllers from interfacing via bluetooth, or via cable whilst playing games (pointless right) this made me quite upset and flustered as I did not have the resources to fix it. A few weeks later I talk to one of my engineering teachers and I get lent a few soldering tools. I get home and get to work. After a few hours of dismantling and rigging and putting back together I turned it on, and it worked just fine. This may have seemed like a boring post, but it made me so extatic I just had to post something here to share my joy. Although you guys probably don't give half a shit about my success Crying or Very sad but oh well.

Here is a thread to post things you have fixed, and share stories of success!
I hope to see some replies soon.

I GIVE HALF A SHIT, it's only half... but ITS STILL HALF! You don't give me enough credit! XD lmao.

Nah, even if someoen doesn't care, (I do care.) We encourage this kind of stuff, and even though you are staff and already know this, I am stating it again for the people who are not staff:

We encourage making topics like this, they create a more friendly environment around the server and forum. Smile

And now onto my success story.

I had youtube was being ghey with it's loading times... so I wrote an angry letter, and they fixed it, it's not really a technological success, but when I think of one I'll post one. :I

Too poor man, too poor DX. Don't wanna make someone else buy my electronics so I would have to get the money and I don't have a way to make that much DX.

Plus I enjoy fixing it so whatever.

If anyone cares, I did another re-flow of the CPU and GPU, it is really no big deal and it is the only thing I have been fixing lately lol.
