| While I know this isn't a tech forum, lmao, I figured since some of you know computers, maybe some of you could help suggest a new video card for my system.
I am looking for suggestions on good graphics cards, I have a budget of around $200-$300 and it has to have VGA out.
This is my system currently: Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L‑M LX PLUS ‑ motherboard Processor: AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six Core Proccessor (6 CPUs), ~3.3 Ghz Current Gfx Card: AMD Radeon HD 5450 at 748 MB memory. (400 Mhz) Ram: 8 Gigs OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit I have a 500 GB HDD with 268 GB free.
So... suggestions on a new video card? Lol. Basically I'm looking for something that will let me turn settings up on my games. Right now I have to run everything on minimum graphics settings because this card maxes out. It is also slowing down the rest of the system. I checked the CPU usage and the Gfx usage, when playing a game it will be extremely laggy, the CPU is only at like 10% but the Gfx card is at like 99%. Basically, I need something faster. So any suggestions within reasonable price range would be helpful!

| I'd go with a EVGA GT 750ti. It's the latest series of GT cards, being a 700 series. It's not the best 700 there is, but it still blows any 600 series out of the water. This is actually the same line that includes that sexy Titan Z 12gb card, same framework too. It has 2gb of GDDR5 ram, which is killer, high amount of CUDA cores, and a great clock speed. It uses the PCI-Express 3.0 port (Idk anything about your mobo, but it prob has a 3.0 port being its pretty new still.) It is $144, but it has one slight problem, it has no VGA port, only HDMI, DVI, or something called a "DisplayPort", which isnt a VGA, I looked. There is such a thing as a DVI to VGA doggle though, they're probably like $10 to $20 and you can grab one at any tech store. Newegg link: http://tinyurl.com/p86zad2 <--- Idk if that is the best price for it however. A card like a GT750ti... that would easily handle that highest SEUS shader mod, with full settings, with far render, all the while maintaining at least over 150fps. That was a guess, but I'm guessing on the low end of where I would think it would be FPS wise, based on the number of CUDA cores, and the clock speed, compared to my GT660-Kepler. This is a card that could run Crysis on full settings, oh and it has G-sync support. | |

| I had an issue with a VGA port on the card that miz sent me a while ago for my old pc, so I have a DVI to VGA adapter laying around still ^.^ So that would actually work. | |

| Nice, people even say a VGA monitor doggled to a DVI port looks better than just all VGA connection.
I've never had the chance to test this so it might be false.

| They say it has a higher response rate, but it may be nominal. | |

So I've discovered I only have 2.0 Ports, got anything for 2.0?
