Custom Drops is a subplugin of Craftbook. It allows for control over what blocks drop when broken, and the chances of it happening. Note that our Custom Drops is set to drop the original drop to be expected from whatever is broke, with a chance to drop something else.  Below are the active Custom Drop chances.


  • Leaves -> Will drop leaves without shears + 1 Apple @ 15%

  • Sand -> 2 Glowstone Dust @ 10%

  • Gravel -> 1 Gunpowder @ 5% + 1 flint @ 25%

  • Dirt -> 1 Bone @ 5%



If you can think of any other cool ones, post here.  Note I can also edit mob drops as well, so post your ideas for that as well.

I would recommend that the drop rates be lowered because players can use this extra drop rates to make a pseudo-infinite supply... by breaking and placing said blocks.

I think it'd be cool when mined withough silk (if possible, if not then scratch this whole idea) if ores like coal and diamond had a low chance of dropping 2, not gold or iron because that'd be infinite

Wouldn't it still be infinite since you get two ore blocks from the diamond or coal due to the silk touch?

I'm saying if it can be disabled whilst silk is inplay, and if it's not possible to read if it's having silk used then just scrap my idea all together, because it would then be infinite

Unfortunately, this subplugin cannot tell if you're using Silk Touch or not.

Maybe just me- but I had always thought these should be in the game...

Leaves: Extremely low percenage to drop sticks
Villagers: on occasion drops Emeralds (May be OverPowered for server use, [see opening statement])
Packed Ice: Ice
Ice: Packed Ice
Ghast: Fire Charge
Zombie Pigmen: Cooked Porkchop on occasion
Zombie Pigmen: Rotten Flesh on occasion
Wither Skeleton: Netherwart on occasion
Creeper: 1-2 Firework, preset with stats to make a creeperhead explosion, very occasionally.

There are other things I think should be added (like porkchop sandwiches Item ID X:0, and Half-eaten porckchop sandwiches Item ID X:1), but as far as drops... here are a few associations that may not have been considered. They may be good, or crap... (like Wither Skeletons finding netherwarts from the Nether Fortress they spawn in).

But Good or bad, here are some thoughts.

I suggest removing custom drops, at least for dirt, or at all. Looks like it is interfering with new block podzol.
